More than 2,000 cyclists take part in the Ben to the Shore Bike Tour

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- More than 2,000 cyclists are pedaling their way from Philadelphia to Atlantic City, New Jersey.

It's all for the 39th annual Ben to the Shore Bike Tour.

The Action Cam captured the start of the ride Sunday at the foot of the Ben Franklin Bridge in Old City.

It's a 65-mile trek from the bridge to the shore.

There are also 30 and 10 mile rides, leaving from different starting points in New Jersey.

The event raises money for the families of fallen first responders.

This year's goal is to raise $1.5 million.
